Therapists
Becca Glaser, OTR
Becca is an Occupational Therapist who became one with the express desire to perform hippotherapy. She had seen, first hand, the benefits that hippotherapy could provide and she has dedicated her professional career to that end. In her "free" time, she sits on the Wise County Child Welfare Board, and cares for her own extensive herd of four-legged children.
Marlene Barry, PT
Marlene received her physical therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma. Marlene has over 20 years experience in pediatric physical therapy including work in school settings, early childhood intervention, and private pediatric clinic work. She also has experience in hippotherapy, having received her certification as a Riding Instructor with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. She is also registered with the American Hippotherapy Association.
LuAnn Lee-Whatley, OT
LuAnn graduated with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University. LuAnn has worked in pediatric therapy in settings including early childhood intervention, school settings, outpatient clinic & home-based therapy. LuAnn worked 2 years at Tidman Therapy Services in Albuquerque, NM where she learned Hippotherapy while performing her occupational therapy duties.
Kris Tottori, PT, MBA
Kris earned her physical therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and her MBA from UTD. Kris has worked in a wide variety of settings over the past 17 years, including pediatrics, hippotherapy, orthopedics, MHMR, and in-home therapy. Kris has trained foreign therapists and students, and has worked with a wide variety of clients throughout the DFW region.
Operations
Betsy Eager, Equine Manager
Betsy has worked with Reata Rehabilitation and Barnes Therapy for over eight years. Betsy started as a volunteer and was hired to be part of the Barnes Therapy horse staff. She has been Reata Rehabilitation’s equine manager from the beginning. She has extensive horse experience including owning and training her own Appaloosa. Betsy has also served as Reata’s Volunteer Coordinator and continues to be a key employee. Betsy is also a certified Riding Instructor with NAHRA.
